With this piece, I was curious to see how much emotion I could get out of simple brushstrokes and color. I played around with texture, layering the paint and dragging the brush so it felt almost restless. I leaned into color, pushing the light and dark against each other to see if I could create that lonely, isolated mood. It was really an experiment, but one that let me explore how brush and color can tell a story on their own.
